Full Side Splits
by: Lee

Hi Lulu,

Before you tackle the full side splits, you need to know how flexible you are. Why is this important? Your potential flexibility will govern your results and what you can expect to achieve.

For someone with average to good stretching capabilities, you can expect to make a full side split in about a month. However, please be warned: if you have weak knees, you may experience problems as this is a challenging exercise.

For some great stretching tips, check out the book Stretching Scientifically by Thomas Kurz. You can also find more tips on our site: How to Increase Flexibility

Good luck!
